Tamman (Urdu: ٹمن) is a village and a union council of District Talagang in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. It is a medium sized village, located 30 KMs west from Talagang and is one of the oldest towns with more than 10,000 population.
The seat of political power in the region, it rose to prominence when Sardar Muhammad Hayat of Tamman became the railway minister in Ayub Khan's cabinet and later served as an advisor on political affairs to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
Tamman is amongst those developing villages where different sorts of technology is already a part of the inhabitants' lifestyle. Tamman High School is considered as one of the most up to date high schools in the area.
